& FUSE MASTERCLASS

Fuse 12 is a 12 week college and career prep course for dancers ages 14 to 18. Though Fuse 12 is especially helpful for dancers who plan on pursuing a career in performance, it is beneficial for students in all career pathways.

Each week focuses on a different subject, including topics like values and strengths, college/conservatory research, personal finances, and goal setting. Students will be given time during the class to fill out a written worksheet that aligns with the weekly topic and includes reflection questions, course exercises, and space for additional notes.

The Fuse Masterclass is a one time, two hour masterclass that provides an overview of life beyond high school as a performer. The class briefly covers performance career paths, college and conservatory options, supporting oneself financially, and holistic health, and includes a guided worksheet and career quiz. This masterclass is geared towards dancers ages 14 to 18.

Fuse 12 helps students:

• understand their unique strengths and values

• gain a wider understanding of career options

• consider a variety of college/conservatory programs

• research scholarships and learn how to create a budget

• begin creating the materials necessary to start their careers

• learn how to prioritize their mental and physical health

• create an actionable plan to help students achieve their goals

The Fuse Masterclass is a great option for studios seeking to briefly introduce students to the logistics of a career in performance.

Fuse 12 is $100 per student per month($25 per session), or $240 per student($20 per session) if paid in full. Studio owners will be given the option to manage payment and registration or to send parents a link to pay and register for their students directly. If choosing to pay for their students, it is at the studio owner’s discretion to charge parents individual fees.

The Fuse Masterclass is a flat rate of $250 per session. It is as the studio owner’s discretion to charge parents individual fees.

Fuse 12 will be taught via Zoom for one hour each week. Students can log on from individual devices at home, or they may choose to share devices at the studio. After your free consultation, you will receive an email with a direct link to your studio’s weekly session. The chosen day and time will remain the same for the course of the 12 weeks. Holiday weeks will be skipped and not counted as part of the 12 weeks.

Fuse Masterclass is taught via Zoom. Students can log on from individual devices at home, or they may choose to share devices at the studio. Once you’ve selected the course, you will be prompted to choose a date and time that works for your studio. After your payment is processed, you will receive a Zoom link to be shared with students.
